DIVERSITY POLICY

Toronto Equestrian is committed to championing diversity in all levels of our organization, and in equestrian sport as a whole.

It is a recognized reality that equestrian is an elite sport, and associated with the wealthy. We recognize that as a sport and as a community we have a long way to go in order to be a more inclusive and welcoming space for people of colour, members of the LGBTQ+ community, the financially disadvantaged, and other underrepresented communities. Toronto Equestrian is committed to championing diversity in all levels of our organization, and in equestrian sport as a whole. We firmly believe that representation in sport matters, and are committed to proactive community initiatives and hiring practices that make our sport accessible and viable for all.
Toronto Equestrian recognizes the benefits its talented and diverse employee and volunteer roster bring to the business. The success of our business is a reflection of the quality and skill of our people. Toronto Equestrian is committed to seeking out and retaining the finest human talent, regardless of race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, family status or disability, to ensure top business growth and performance.

Toronto Equestrian believes in treating all people with respect and dignity. We strive to create and foster a supportive and understanding environment in which all individuals realize their maximum potential within the business, regardless of their differences. We are committed to employing the best people to do the best job possible.
